RANDLEMAN, N.C. (ACME NEWS) – A house fire on Allred Way in Randleman caused significant damage but fortunately did not result in any injuries.

The fire broke out just after midnight on July 5th, 2023, prompting a response from multiple fire departments in the area. Firefighters from Randleman, Sophia arrived on the scene to find the home almost fully engulfed in flames. They were assited by responding mutal aid units from Level Cross, and Westside Fire Departments, along with Randolph County EMS.

According to officials with the Randleman Fire Department, the homeowner was at home at the time, but all occupants were able to evacuate safely before the fire consumed the structure.

The house was left with extensive fire and smoke damage. Crews remained at the scene until early in the morning, extinguishing hot spots to prevent rekindling. The Red Cross has been notified to assist the displaced occupants as they assess their next steps.

Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire, and an investigation is underway.
