ASHEBORO N.C. (ACME NEWS) – Traffic on I-73/74 Southbound near Asheboro is currently delayed as authorities investigate an incident involving an injured person.
Around 5:40 p.m. on July 22nd, 2023, emergency crews responded to the southbound lanes of I-73/74 near the Pineview exit. Responders located one individual with critical injuries in the roadway. That indavidual was transported by EMS to a local trauma center.
Investigators remain on the scene, and motorists should expect delays in the area. No further information was available and updates will be provided as needed when more information becomes available from officials.
