ASHEBORO, N.C. — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office has charged three men with sex offenses involving minors following separate investigations in February.

Juan Jose Figueroa Jimenez was charged with felony crimes against nature and three counts of felony indecent liberties with a child after the Sheriff’s Office received information about sexual offenses on Dec. 15, 2021.

On Feb. 12, 2022, Figueroa Jimenez was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Jail. He is being held on a $100,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for Feb. 14, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.

On Feb. 11, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a sexual offense against a juvenile allegedly committed by Jerod Austin Eugene Summey. An investigation led to charges of felony indecent liberties with a child.

On Feb. 14, 2022, Summey was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Jail. He is being held on a $25,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for Feb. 15, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.

On Feb. 6, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of an offense against a juvenile allegedly committed by Roy Gibson Parson. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division sought charges for felony statutory sex offense with a child.

On Feb. 15, 2022, Parson was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Jail. He is being held on a $250,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for Feb. 16, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
