
ASHEBORO N.C. (ACME NEWS) — The North Carolina Zoo is offering a discount for residents of almost 30 counties affected by Hurricane Helene.
From October 12th, through November 15th, 2024, the NC Zoo is offering $5 admission to affected residents of almost 30 counties in North Carolina.
- Eligable Counties – Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Clay, Cleveland, Gaston, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mecklenburg, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania, Watauga, Wilkes, Yancey, and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
Eligible guests may request the $5 single ticket price for themselves and up to five additional guests in the same party. You will be required to present a valid form of a North Carolina ID showing you live within one of the above counties to claim the discount.
