
ASHEBORO N.C. (ACME NEWS) – The North Carolina Zoo is celebrating Military Appreciation Week by offering free admission to military personnel, both past and present, from November 8th to 14th, 2021.
This offer extends to all active duty, reserve, veteran, and retired members from all branches of the military. Additionally, these individuals can bring up to six guests, each receiving a $2 discount on admission.
The discount can only be applied to tickets purchased on-site and requires proof of military service. Acceptable forms of ID include a US Military ID, US Veterans ID, a DD-214 with a photo ID, a state driver’s license with a veteran indicator or military identifier, or an ID issued by the VA, VF, or American Legion.
“We appreciate and salute all military personnel and the sacrifices made. The North Carolina Zoo thanks you for your service and welcomes you to the Zoo!,” said the North Carolina Zoo in a press release.
The Zoo is operating under its fall hours, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this week, with the last admission at 3 p.m.
