ASHEBORO, N.C. (ACME NEWS) — One person was hospitalized Tuesday evening after being stabbed at the Randolph Mall, police said.
The stabbing was reported around 6:15 p.m. at Dunham’s Sports, according to Robbie Brown, assistant chief of the Asheboro Police Department.
The victim reported being assaulted by several black males while inside the store. He was transported to a local medical facility for treatment. His condition was not immediately available.
The Asheboro Police Department assigned the case to its Criminal Investigations Division. No information about the individuals involved could be released due to their age, Brown said.
