ASHEBORO, N.C. — A Seagrove man was arrested on felony child pornography charges after authorities executed a search warrant at his home.
Robbie Ray Snider was arrested after the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division Internet Crimes Against Children task force received information that he was possessing and distributing child pornography files.
On April 21, officers executed a search warrant at Snider’s home on Dunlap Drive in Seagrove. Police seized evidence during the search.
Snider was charged with one count of felony second-degree exploitation of a minor. He was taken into custody and placed in the Moore County Jail, where he is being held under a $150,000 secured bond. His first appearance is set for May 5 in Randolph County District Court.
The investigation was a joint effort between the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, the FBI and the Moore County Sheriff’s Office. Additional charges may be forthcoming.
